Solidarity on the beach

As part of their annual “Community Day”, taking place on june 21 2019, Celgene took the entire team of 26 thrilled colleagues to Oostende for a wonderful and healthy to help the coordinators of the non-profit organization Habbekrats in painting beach cabins, building a terrace and wooden flower boxes, placing palm trees and cleaning parts of the beach for this colorful youth organization.

This purpose driven day initiative helped create the ideal conditions to welcome the youngster at risk for a great sunny summer.

Habbekrats helps kids aged 8 to 18 years, looking for warmth, friendship, adventure and support. Habbekrats has set up eleven cosy housing shelters across Belgium where a total of 2500 kids meet each year, connect with each other and receive swift and personalized assistance.
